Whilst (rather reluctantly, I admit) listening to some of the debate about the parties in Downing Street that have had journalists in a state of complete frenzy, I’ve noticed that none of them seem to have referred to the issue that immediately sprang to my mind, which was this: ‘What were the regulations on the days on which these events happened?
