I first met Humphrey in 2010. We meet periodically and always end up discussing theology. He is now 86 and his deep and loyal faith over 60 years as a priest shine through him. I always find our meetings inspirational. I think this comes through in what follows, which sums up what should be our hopes for the New Year

Last week, Andrew Bridgen MP gave an impassioned speech in parliament calling for an immediate cessation of the MRNA vaccination programme. It is the most important contribution to this debate in parliament.
If you’re feeling pessimistic, try Christmas!
This is the first almost normal Christmas that we’ve had in three years. It’s therefore, more than ever, a suitable time for us to think about what Christmas means, or should mean.
