Thank you for your loyalty in reading my posts since I started writing this blog seven years ago. There are now more than 150 posts on the blog, so there is a lot of material to explore, for those of you who have not been with me since 2019.

You will have noticed that my postings have become less frequent. There are several reasons for this. I lead a fairly busy life; I don’t want to ‘become a slave’ to the blog by feeling I must post something at routine intervals. Finally, I am now older and my stamina is not what it was.

I hope you will understand.

I propose in the next few months to paste up on the blog a series of four articles that I wrote some time ago about English Church Buildings. They cover an Introduction to the subject; Church Architecture and Archaeology; Church contents and how layout has been changed historically and finally Church Eccentricities and Oddities.

For those of you who have little interest in this subject, feel free to pass them by.

Later in the year, I will also be posting up some thoughts about St Paul, who is probably one of our most misunderstood saints and, when the mood takes me, I will do a more ‘normal’ post.

I hope what I write will meet with your approval. I have no plans to cease posting, but the timing may be more erratic!
